2025 Annual Drinking Water Quality Notice

Notice to Residents Connected to the West Shore Park Water System:

The West Shore Park Annual Drinking Water Quality Report for 2025 is now available.  West Shore Park is required to issue this annual report, compiled by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), to all residents served by our water system.  Since the completion of our well blending upgrade at the end of 2003, our water supply has consistently met or exceeded all federal and state water quality health standards.

Please note that this 2025 report lists two administrative violations related to the 2024 reporting cycle.  These were strictly clerical omissions under the Consumer Confidence Rule and the Lead and Copper Rule.  While the 2024 annual report and the necessary service line notifications were sent directly to our residents, we omitted filing the final certification forms back to the IEPA to prove delivery.  At no point was the safety or quality of your drinking water compromised.  All required paperwork has since been corrected and submitted to the state, and robust tracking procedures are now in place to ensure all future regulatory filings are completed on time.
