The meeting was called to order on October 3, 2022 at 7:02 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by President Mike Davenport.


Chris Shifley moved that the minutes from the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors on September 12, 2022 be approved as corrected. Werner Brisske seconded the motion. Unanimously approved.


Rose Brisske and Clare Crotty reported the WSP Women’s Group is considering sponsoring several neighborhood events including a community garage sale and a bags tournament. Planning is underway. Any person with interest in planning and/or running a WSP event should contact Rose Brisske, or request to join the WSP Women’s Group Facebook group for more information.


Mike Davenport reported that a licensing agreement for use of WSPC property has been proposed to an interested non-member for use and access to the property.

Mike Davenport reported that a letter of resolution will be drafted and delivered to a member regarding payment for the cost of locating a buffalo box.


Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 9/01/2022 – 9/30/2022. Minaxi Tailor moved and Werner Brisske seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.





Members are reminded that budget planning for the 2023-2024 fiscal year is underway. Members are encouraged to attend monthly board meetings to have their concerns and requests regarding the budget addressed during the planning stage. The most important meetings regarding how WSPC spends funds collected from the homeowners are from October through February.

Larry Bakirtjy requested the process on how to submit a request for budget consideration. The recommendation is to write up an estimate and submit to the WSPC board for review, preferably before the November regularly scheduled monthly board meeting.


Fred Aichele presented a copy of an original “Plat of Dedication” for review. The document covers a section of WSPC property that is currently under discussion.

Larry Bakirtjy requested if there was a procedure for WSPC directors to store historical documents for later reference and/or retrieval. No set procedure is currently in place and copies of many documents are currently held by several people. There was a discussion on the need to implement digital storage for documents making it easier to locate and retrieve information for current WSPC directors and members as needed.


Larry Bakirtjy presented a plat of survey to review a section of WSPC property that is currently under discussion.


Larry Bakirtjy reported he discovered a discrepancy on the new Lake County Tax Map which includes the Taylor Lake Court property and will be requesting the change be corrected and the map updated. Larry reported that the WSPC Taylor Lake Court property will be marked clearly with signs.

Larry Bakirtjy presented a plat of survey with proposed locations for WSPC property markers. A budget request for stakes and signs will be submitted for consideration.

It was reported that a pallet of landscape materials is still located on WSPC property after the owner was contacted with a request to move it. The owner will be contacted again and a final date for re-location will be issued before the materials are removed by WSPC.


Minaxi Tailor moved that the meeting be adjourned. Chris Shifley seconded the motion. Unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.

Meetings will be held via Zoom in the event that Covid-19 Mitigation Measures are put into place and meeting rooms may not host gatherings. Dates and time and location are subject to change. All homeowners are encouraged to attend the monthly board meetings. Please contact any member of the board or check the website for updated information regarding meeting location.
