MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order on January 9, 2017 at 7:02 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Rd., Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by Director, Nicki Sullivan.
MINUTES FOR APPROVAL
Gina Rundall moved and Nicki Sullivan seconded that the minutes from the Board of Directors Meeting of December 5, 2016 be approved as corrected. Unanimously approved.
There was a review and discussion of communication exchanged with a resident regarding community dock storage on WSP common property.
There was a discussion regarding the need to review the current Rules and Regulations regarding community property, community piers, and common property and determine if revision is required to provide clarity to these subjects.
Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 12/01/2016 – 12/31/2016. Chris Shifley moved and Gina Rundall seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.
There was a review and discussion of delinquent accounts.
2017 BUDGET PROPOSAL
Fred Aichele presented the revised draft of the proposed 2017-2018 operating budget for review. There was a review and discussion of the revisions. The board’s recommendation for the next year’s budget is:

Nicki Sullivan moved and Gina Rundall seconded to accept the final draft of the Proposed Budget Fiscal Year 4/01/2017 – 3/31/2018 as proposed for presentation to the WSPC membership at the annual meeting. Unanimously approved by Directors: James Melledy, Gina Rundall, Chris Shifley and Nicki Sullivan.
This report will be discussed at the Annual Homeowners Meeting of February 19, 2017 at 1:30pm and attached to the minutes of that meeting.

APPROVE 2017 ANNUAL MEETING PROXY AND LETTER TO HOMEOWNERS
The West Shore Park Corporation 2017 Annual Meeting Proxy and cover letter will be distributed to all homeowners prior to the annual meeting and will also be available on the website for download.
NOMINATIONS FOR DIRECTOR POSITIONS
Gina Rundall will not be seeking another term for a position as Director on the WSPC Board.
Nicki Sullivan is seeking an additional term as Director.
WSPC received two eligible nominations to be considered for the two open positions of Director.

LAKE COUNTY GRANT
James Melledy reported that board members have received questions regarding the grant application sent to WSP residents to help determine if they qualify for funds that would help the individuals pay for their portion of the water tank installation. The application and supporting documentation must be submitted to the Lake County Community Development office by 4pm on Friday, January 27, 2017. There was a discussion of the expense and budgeting concerns to consider native plants and rain gardens as part of the shoreline restoration project to help slow erosion, facilitate proper drainage, and control muskrat infestation.
Gina Rundall reported that a repair estimate for the North Pillar damaged when hit by a car has been scheduled.
Nicki Sullivan moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Chris Shifley. Unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 8:54 p.m.
