MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order on February 5, 2018 at 7:01 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Rd., Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by President, James Melledy.
MINUTES FOR APPROVAL
Nicki Sullivan moved and Sharon Zink seconded that the minutes from the Board of Directors Meeting of January 8, 2018 be approved as corrected. Unanimously approved.
CORRESPONDENCE
A . FREMONT TOWNSHIP
James Melledy reported that a replacement West Shore Drive road sign for the south entrance has been installed.
B. TAYLOR LAKE COURT – LICENSING AGREEMENT
James Melledy reported that he has a meeting set with the law firm WSPC works with to review the proposed revised Taylor Lake Court Licensing Agreement.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 01/01/2018 – 01/31/2018. Sharon Zink moved and Chris Shifley seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.
There was a review and discussion of delinquent accounts.
COMMISSIONERS’ REPORT
A. Water Tank
Brett Laureys reported that the water tank replacement project is moving along.
Two temporary hydrants have been installed.
Construction projected to begin at the beginning of April, depending on the weather.
Tentative tank installation completion date set for Memorial Day with landscape replacement and repair to follow during the summer.
Brett Laureys reported that there was a water main break in front of 19299 “Old” Forest Lane. Pricing quotes for the replacement of the older water mains is underway. Project planning to replace sections of older water mains is underway. More information should be available for presentation at the February 18, 2018 Annual Members’ Meeting.
OLD BUSINESS
James Melledy reported that some privately owned pier sections on WSPC Property have been moved. Other sections still remain and will be removed. An effort is underway to work with homeowners to move piers and shore stations off WSP common property and fully onto private property. Nicki Sullivan reported that she is gathering quotes for a property survey to determine exact property lines.
NEW BUSINESS
Nicki Sullivan reported that she has been talking with representatives from West Shoreland regarding the pros and cons of having a new basketball court installed at Miller Park.
ADJOURN
Nicki Sullivan moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Sharon Zink. Unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 8:46 p.m.
