MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order on October 5, 2020 at 7:01 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by President James Melledy.
MINUTES FOR APPROVAL
Chris Shifley moved that the minutes from the Regular Board of Directors Meeting of September 14, 2020 be approved as corrected. The motion was seconded by Mike Davenport. Unanimously approved by Mike Davenport, James Melledy, Chris Shifley, and Nicki Sullivan.
CORRESPONDENCE
A. There was a correspondence from a WSP member stating that a sign from their front lawn was stolen two days after they put it out. The WSPC member stated a police report was filed and all local government officials were contacted.
B. A WSPC member volunteered to backfill behind a WSPC seawall in Block II. A board member met with the owner of the property and discussed the details of the proposal with the board. The board did not see an issue with backfilling.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 9/01/2020 – 9/30/2020. Nicki Sullivan moved and Chris Shifley seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.
There was a discussion of the costs and the outstanding expenses of the Forest Water Main. Final engineering firm invoice has not yet been received.
The board discussed the potential schedule and cost for Phase II of the Forest Water Main Improvements. No details have been finalized at this time. The board is targeting summer 2022 for Phase II construction.
The board is working with Fremont to coordinate the water main improvement with the township’s future construction plans on Forest.
MILLER PARK
Plantings and seeding are still scheduled for late October early November 2020.
WATER
Board is receiving prices for the pump house roof repair.
ADJOURN
Nicki Sullivan moved that the meeting be adjourned. Mike Davenport seconded the motion. Unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
The board met in Executive Session following the adjournment of the regular meeting.

Public WSPC Regular Monthly Board Meetings have resumed at the Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, Illinois 60060.
The following protocols for entry are required by Countryside Fire Department:

Facemasks/face covering must be worn while within the building.

All visitors must sign in at entrance.

Visitors must have their temperature checked and logged at entrance.

Maximum occupancy for training room at Mundelein is 22.
James Melledy will be stepping down as WSPC Director. Please contact any member of the board if you are from Block 2 and are interested in serving as a WSPC Director.
Budget planning for the 2021-2022 fiscal year is underway. Members are encouraged to attend monthly board meetings to have their concerns and requests regarding the budget addressed during the planning stage. The most important meetings regarding how WSPC spends funds collected from the homeowners are from October through February.
