MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order on May 2, 2022 at 7:01 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by President Mike Davenport.
MINUTES FOR APPROVAL
Larry Bakirtjy moved that the minutes from the Regular Board of Directors Meeting of April 4, 2022 be approved as corrected. The motion was seconded by Minaxi Tailor. Unanimously approved.
CORRESPONDENCE
Nicki Sullivan reported to the WSP Board via email that Daniel Didech (Illinois House of Representatives for the 59th district) and Alicia Dodd (Fremont Township Highway Commissioner) were able to secure some state funding to go towards costs associated with roadway improvements in WSP, West Shoreland, and Oak Terrace.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 4/01/2022 – 4/30/2022. Werner Brisske moved and Chris Shifley seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.
Fred Aichele reported that reminder emails have been sent to owners who had not yet paid dues. The 2022/2023 WSPC Annual Homeowners’ Dues Billing was sent out at the beginning of April and was due by 4/30/2022. Partial payments are not accepted. Payment can be made by check, or paid by credit card through the WSP website: www.westshorepark.com
PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Mike Davenport reported that he has been in review regarding several possible legal issues (including fence challenges) and possible legal options available to WSPC.
COMMISSIONERS’ REPORTS
Dan Prezell (Block 1 Beach Commissioner) reported that he will post the block 1 beach license at block 1 beach.
Bruce Brodzik (Piers) reported:

Met with Mundelein Park District Executive Director, Ron Salski.

Boat patrols on Diamond Lake will begin soon.

Piers will be going in soon.

Weed control for Diamond Lake will begin soon.

Boat slips are currently available. Contact Bruce for more information on available slips.
REVIEW OF TASKS LIST
OLD BUISNESS
There was a discussion about landscaping charges for Miller Park and the Beaches being billed on the same invoice. The Board needs to clarify these billings with the respective commissioners to clarify which budgets are responsible for the costs and to ensure an accountable review and approval process.
Block 2 major roadwork and paving is scheduled for this summer and fall. Please watch your email for additional information on when work is estimated to begin and which roads will be affected.

Minaxi Tailor moved that the meeting be adjourned. Larry Bakirtjy seconded the motion. Unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 8:12 p.m.

Meetings will be held via Zoom in the event that Covid-19 Mitigation Measures are put into place and meeting rooms may not host gatherings. Dates and time and location are subject to change. All homeowners are encouraged to attend the monthly board meetings. Please contact any member of the board or check the website for updated information regarding meeting location.
