MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order on December 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Rd., Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by Director, Nicki Sullivan.
MINUTES FOR APPROVAL
Cheryl Moss moved and Chris Shifley seconded that the minutes from the Board of Directors Meeting of November 14, 2016 be approved as corrected. Unanimously approved.
CORRESPONDENCE
There was a review and discussion of an email received from a resident regarding the landscaping maintenance of WSP common property.
There was a review and discussion of communications received from a resident regarding community dock storage on WSP common property.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 11/01/2016 – 11/30/2016. Nicki Sullivan moved and Chris Shifley seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.
There was a review and discussion of delinquent accounts.
Fred Aichele reported that three insurance policies have been renewed.
2017 BUDGET PROPOSAL
Homeowners are reminded that budget planning for the 2017-2018 fiscal year is underway. Homeowners are encouraged to attend monthly board meetings to have their concerns and requests regarding the budget addressed during the planning stage. The most important meetings regarding how WSPC spends funds collected from the homeowners are from October through January.
Fred Aichele presented a revised draft of the proposed 2017-2018 budget for review and discussion.
NEW BUSINESS
Nicki Sullivan reported that Fremont Township is planning drainage repair and improvement for the intersection and area surrounding Grove and Oakdale Lane. Repairs are tentatively scheduled for April 2017.
Cheryl Moss presented the confirmed WSPC meeting dates for 2017.

Gina Rundall will not be seeking another term as a West Shore Park Director. If you are interested in volunteering for your community by serving on the West Shore Park Corporation Board, please fill out and submit a self-nomination form available for download from the West Shore Park website, or contact any West Shore Park board member for a copy of the 2017 West Shore Park Board of Directors Self Nomination to be a Candidate for the Board of Directors. This is a two-year term. Elections for the board member positions are on February 19, 2017 at the Annual Members Meeting.
