MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order on July 11, 2022 at 7:01 p.m. at Countryside Fire Station #1, 801 S. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, Illinois 60060 by President Mike Davenport.
MINUTES FOR APPROVAL
Chris Shifley moved that the minutes from the Regular (Mini) Meeting of the Board of Directors of February 20, 2022 be approved as presented. Unanimously approved by Directors: Larry Bakirtjy, Mike Davenport, Minaxi Tailor, Chris Shifley.
CORRESPONDENCE
Larry Bakirtjy reported that he received notice from a resident that two pallets of stone are on the Block 1 Beach property. The stone was not ordered and is not designated or for any current WSPC project.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Fred Aichele presented the Treasurer’s Report for 6/01/2022 – 6/30/2022. Minaxi Tailor moved and Larry Bakirtjy seconded that the Treasurer’s Report be approved as submitted. Unanimously approved.
Fred Aichele reported that paper-work regarding the Channel Agreement was supplied to a real estate broker as requested prior to the sale of a home along the channel.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Mike Davenport reported that he has been in review regarding several possible legal issues (including fence challenges and homeowners installing landscaping on WSPC property) and the possible legal options available to WSPC. Other legal issues planned for discussion include resident pier use and the related possible liability for WSPC.
REVIEW OF TASKS LIST
Tasks noted include:
Need to confirm number and location of sandwich signs.
Need to confirm status of new lock installation and all new keys for well-house.
OLD BUISNESS
Minaxi Tailor reported that the business that accidentally damaged WSPC landscaping near the block 2 beach returned to successfully repair the damage.
The old fire-pit in Miller Park will be dismantled and removed.
It was confirmed the block 2 beach license has been posted at the entrance to the beach.
Larry Bakirtjy reported that Taylor Lake Court signs still need to be made and installed.
NEW BUISNESS
Minaxi Tailor reported that a small hole in the ground has opened along the sea wall near block 2 beach. A small hole in the sea-wall is allowing water from the lake to erode away the landscaping. The hole has been filled, and a board has been placed over the hole as a temporary fix until the hole in the sea-wall can be permanently fixed.
It was noted that there are some residents who do not use email and that some notices have to be printed and distributed by hand. Sign boards should also be set out to help communicate important/immediate notices.

Minaxi Tailor moved that the meeting be adjourned. Chris Shifley seconded the motion. Unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 9:01 p.m.
